I just saw this yesterday on Reddit! Thanks for all the pertinent info regarding its history. All this temperance stuff was full on propaganda. I can’t imagine living in the US during those 13 years.
I saw it too. Which it what caused me to go back and do some more research to flesh out more about the "it's your mom's fault" theory of alcoholism.

I guess Thomas F. Hubbard would not have condoned the behaviour described in my post of yesterday! Personally I blame my mother ....
