Incredible Peter - another great share and to go off on a tangent my favourite brown ale is 'Double Maxim'. The original beer, Maxim Ale, was first produced in 1901 to celebrate the safe return from the Boer War of a member of the Vaux brewing family. During that war he had commanded Maxim guns in the 5th Imperial Yeomanry.
The 'Double' which is now part of the name comes from the doubling of the strength of the original beer in 1938 (it was subsequently reduced again but the name left the same)
Can't be many other beers named after a machine gun!
I surmised immediately upon reading your response that rather than AK-47, in this country we oughta be able to buy AR-15 Ale. So I looked up "AR-15 beer" and did not discover a beer named AR-15, but I did find this fine offering from X Products: the AR-15 beer can cannon:
Brings back memories of sailing the bay with a bunch of other boat nuts, one of whom had an actual cannon on his boat which was designed for exactly the same purpose – firing beer cans at competitors.
That was the style back then. Ran across some of my dad’s early in life photos. His was the same way. Even his Annapolis pictures showed his hair pretty close to that. Certainly not the shave tail cuts plebs get these days.

I love how one bit of historical minutia leads to another. But I’m guessing that somewhere here in gun crazy America, someone makes “AK-47 IPA”

Ha! I'd hate to be in the neighboring apartment to these guys, especially if the walls were thin!
That is absurd! We don't shoot guns in the house. We take them to shopping malls and supermarkets.
What with the silencers and sandbags, the loudest thing in this article has got to be that haircut of his! It’s sky high!! 😂
Glad you like it. When I found it, I had to include.

A stylish dad!
He was and handsome too 😉.
