Cartoon Map of Hollywood (1928)
A fun look at movies and the stars at the dawn of the Golden Age
Harrison Godwin (1899 – 1984) was an American cartoonist and map illustrator active in California during the first half of the 20th century.
Here’s Godwin’s humorous take on Hollywood. It features a history of Hollywood that starts in upper left and proceeds around the perimeter. Within the map are location of landmarks, notable events and famous film stars of the era.
Another great map by Harrison Godwin

Jeez Louise! Harrison had some free time and an eye for detail. Whereas I have an eye only for Delores del Rio.
